Each year, the Detroit Auto Show includes spectacular "reveals" by automakers- new vehicles, concept cars, and new advances in technology. This year is shaping up to include some exciting new releases for fans of the next big thing in the auto industry.

On January 9, Ford unveiled the next generation Ford Explorer. The Ford Explorer is an SUV mainstay, and the much-anticipated 2020 Explorer replaces the 2011 generation with new head lights, new grille, higher end trims, extra storage, and EcoBoost engines.

Infiniti also released photos of its QX Inspiration Concept before the auto show, showcasing a luxury electric SUV. The official reveal will occur at the show. Infiniti said the concept "is a reflection of Infiniti's plans for a line-up of electric vehicles that offer outstanding performance and a range of confidence."

Kia technically debuted a sneak preview of the new three row Telluride SUV at New York Fashion Week. The full reveal is expected at the auto show. The SUV will include a V6 engine and will be bigger than the Kia Sorento. The Telluride will share its platform with the Hyundai Palisade, which debuted at the LA auto show in November.
