New York Department of Labor (NY DOL) proposed changes to the
state's call-in requirements, which would require employers to
include two extra hours of pay for employees at minimum wage if
they are called in with less than two weeks' notice. On March
5, 2019, the NY DOL announced that these proposed changes will
expire without going into effect. Finally, a win for New York
employers!
