Jeffrey Alberts, Co-Chair of the firm's Financial Institutions Group and Chair of the White Collar + Investigations practice, spoke with Law360's Jon Hill around the "Banking Regulations to Watch in 2020."

Alberts noted that changes need to be made to the Bank Secrecy Act, noting that the flaws in the Act have caught the attention of many stakeholders. 

He notes, “I think it’s very likely that some form of legislation will be passed...There is a lot of support on the law enforcement side and the bank side to make some fundamental modifications to the way the Bank Secrecy Act currently functions.”
