Macaristan’a karşı açılan ve 19 Ekim 2017 tarihinde Türkiye lehine sonuçlanan Geçiş Belgesi ücretlerinin kaldırılması davasının ardından bu ülkeye ödenen Geçiş Belgesi ücretlerinin geri iadesi için ikinci dava açılmıştı. Durukan Hukuk Bürosu ile DLA Piper Hukuk Bürosu iş birliği çerçevesinde 21 Türk uluslararası taşıma şirketini temsilen Av. Mahmut Barlas tarafından Aralık 2021’de açılan dava, Türk taşımacıları lehine sonuçlandı. Vaktinde başvuru yapan Türk taşımacıları, 2016 ve 2017 yıllarında ödedikleri tüm araç vergilerini (Geçiş Belgesi Ücreti) iade aldı.

Following the abolition of Transit Document fees against Hungary, which was concluded in favor of Türkiye on October 19, 2017, a second lawsuit was filed for the refund of Transit Document fees paid to this country. The lawsuit filed in December 2021 by Counsel Mahmut Barlas, representing 21 Turkish international transportation companies in cooperation with DLA Piper Law Firm, was concluded in favor of Turkish transporters. Turkish transporters, who applied on time, received a refund of all vehicle taxes (Transit Document Fees) they paid in 2016 and 2017.

The European Court of Human Rights has progressively expanded protection for arbitral awards under Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the ECHR, treating them as protected possessions. Through landmark cases spanning three decades, the Court has established that states cannot arbitrarily interfere with final arbitral awards through legislative action, prolonged non-enforcement, or unjustified judicial refusals to enforce.

On 11 August 2020, the London Court of International Arbitration has announced the changes made to the LCIA arbitration rules that will become effective on 1 October 2020.

"Multiple nationality" is a status in which a person is concurrently regarded as a citizen under the laws of more than one state.

In international law, the issue of "effective nationality" was famously considered by the International Court of Justice in the Nottebohm case.

Savaş sonrası 1966 yılında BM tarafından UNICITRAL adında bir komisyon oluşturulmuştur.

The Communique on Tariff of Fees for International Arbitration issued by the Ministry of Justice has been published in the official gazette on March 8, 2016.

The Convention will enter into force on 1 September 2017. Turkey has made reservations for the Convention. First one relates to the use of French language.
