Leading Bermuda commercial litigation, insolvency and trusts disputes lawyer Steven White has joined Walkers (Bermuda) Limited ("Walkers") as a partner in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice. Described by peers in the Legal 500 as being a "very responsive, detail-oriented and professional", Steven will spearhead Walkers' trusts disputes team.
A former commercial, chancery and employment disputes barrister in the UK, and with nearly 10 years' experience appearing in the Bermuda Courts, Steven was recently appointed a Fellow of INSOL, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Bermuda), a member of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (RISA, Bermuda) and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP, Bermuda).

Steven's practice includes high value commercial disputes in the corporate, insolvency and trusts fields. He specialises in contentious trusts matters, especially complex trust litigation and court approved restructurings. Steven also regularly advises on contentious insolvency matters, including disputed petitions and cross applications, costs issues, complex multi-jurisdictional restructurings, and issues arising out of schemes of arrangement and light touch provisional liquidations accompanying US Chapter 11 proceedings.
