Hawksford is proud to announce Andre de Faria has been shortlisted for Jersey Finance's 2022 Rising Stars Awards, under the category of 'Operations and Secretarial'.

The Rising Stars Awards, now in their third year, aim to recognise and reward future leaders from within Jersey's local financial services industry, and celebrate young talent aged between 16 – 30 years.

Andre began his career at Hawksford in 2020, coming straight from college, and has since established himself as a key member of Hawksford's global operations team, having been promoted twice within the space of six months.

As an IT Analyst, Andre is responsible for managing a number of internal processes, as well as the launching of new applications to help drive efficiencies across the business. He also plays a vital role in travelling to our London office, supporting the team with the rollout of new technology and software.

More than 150 young professionals were nominated for this year's awards, with 42 being shortlisted across fourteen industry categories by an independent judging panel.

The judges for the 2022 Rising Stars Awards were Jenny Swan, former CEO for Channel Islands business at J. P. Morgan; Jo Ferbrache, Founder of Jo Ferbrache Consulting. Limited & Sober Jo; and Kevin Lemasney, Head of High Value Residency Engagement, Locate Jersey.

The public can now vote for the shortlisted candidates via the Rising Stars microsite, with the winners being announced at a ceremony on 29 July at the Royal Jersey Showground.
