Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has played a leading role in London International Disputes Week (LIDW) 2026, reinforcing the firm's position at the heart of the global disputes community.
LIDW 2026 brought together the world's foremost disputes professionals across a packed week of conferences, panels and networking events.
The firm's involvement spanned the flagship International Arbitration Day, the main LIDW conference, and a number of member-hosted events, where HSF Kramer practitioners shared their expertise on some of the most pressing issues facing the disputes world today. The firm's London office once again served as a hub for the week's activity, welcoming delegates from across the globe.
This year's theme, Tradition, Trust and Transformation in International Dispute Resolution, provided a timely backdrop for debate on the evolving landscape of cross-border dispute resolution. Following months of planning, the firm put up 18 lawyers to speak across the week as well as hosting or co-hosting 12 events for 785 delegates, with 485 of those at Exchange House.
LIDW aims to represent and celebrate London as a leading centre for handling the resolution of international disputes, whatever the sector or form of dispute resolution, such as arbitration, litigation and mediation.
Paul Lewis, Managing Partner for Disputes UK & EMEA, said: "As a proud founding member of LIDW, our firm has been instrumental in shaping the week since its inception in 2019, and our commitment to the event reflects our broader dedication to advancing the practice of international dispute resolution."
