COPENHAGEN, 21 APRIL 2022

As of 1 April, Rightly Law Firm is part of aera  and has changed name to aera Law. With this acquisition, aera  strengthens its focus on trademarks, designs, copyright, domain names, market law and legal advice and adds yet another chapter to the story of the rapid growth of the European IP firm.

Since its foundation by four partners in January 2018, aera has grown rapidly to include 40 employees working out of offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Aarhus and with employees located in Berlin, Munich, Madrid, and Malmö.

Managing Partner Nicka Kirstejn states: "Even though we seek to grow organically, we have seen that our approach to IP work, client relationship and quality is highly attractive to many companies, and we are extremely happy to announce our first acquisition."

Head of aera's legal department, Monika Colak adds: "We wish to position ourselves as a European full-service IP firm.  After 1.5 years, the legal team has expanded from two to thirteen people based in both Sweden and Denmark. With our combined efforts, we will continue to strengthen our client commitment"

aera is a European IP consultancy firm built on Nordic values with an international perspective.

Rightly Law Firm has since the beginning of 2017 operated as a full-service IP law firm providing relevant legal advice and legal services with a strategic, commercial and pragmatic angle.
