San Francisco – February 9, 2022 – Cooley advised venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (also known as a16z) on its investment in Flexport, a platform for global logistics, as part of the company's $935 million Series E funding round. Lawyers Peter Werner, Jamin Agosti and Sophia Mellein led the Cooley team advising a16z.
Andreessen Horowitz and MSD Partners co-led the round, which also included a strategic investment from Shopify, as well as participation from existing partners and other investors. The investment brings Flexport's post-money valuation to more than $8 billion.
