BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates is proud to have been named Regional Law Firm of the Year at the annual Law.com Legal Week Middle East Legal Awards.
BSA is noted as having "an impressive regional footprint in the Middle East, which offers a full service to its clients, delivering excellence each time." The judges took into consideration our impressive flagship deals from the past 12 months, including:
- Advising on the acquisition of InstaShop by Delivery Hero, to date the third-largest tech/M&A deal, in terms of value, in the Middle East,
- Setting up a German Usufruct Fund – the first and only such fund to be set up in the UAE,
- Advising Siraj Fiance PJSC on the acquisition of Al Hilal Takaful PJSC, the first acquisition in the UAE of a Takaful company by a non-insurance entity.
As part of this achievement, we were pleased to also be recognised for our diverse CSR activities, including pro-bono legal clinics for SMEs, nurturing and encouraging the UAE start-up ecosystem as well as our continued partnership with the DIFC FinTech Hive, an incubator accelerator for FinTech companies.
