Appleby Bermuda's Brad Adderley and Caljonah Smith are speaking on various conference panels in London on 26 & 27 November. The conferences include the Bermuda Executive Forum London on the 26 November and Beyond Convergence London the morning of the 27 November.
The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) is hosting the Bermuda Executive Forum London and sponsoring Beyond Convergence London, which is presented by ILS Bermuda. Both of the conferences will take place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House.
The Bermuda Executive Forum London will feature top experts from re/insurance, asset management, high-net-worth services, long-term life & annuity insurance, captive insurance, fintech and digital assets business. The complimentary, day-long event will comprise of thought leadership sessions and networking opportunities.

Beyond Convergence London will feature representatives from the BDA and Bermuda's ILS market to discuss how alternative reinsurance and management of risk capital have evolved, and how it and innovation may shape the future of the global re/insurance industry.

Caljonah will also be attending The Bermuda Society's Annual Dinner for members and guests at the Worshipful Company of Armourers and Brasiers on the evening of 26 November. The Bermuda Society is a London-based organisation promoting Bermuda as a first-class jurisdiction for international business.
Brad Adderley is a partner in the Corporate department in Bermuda and has been a member of the Insurance team for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance market and specialises in ILS and alternative collateralised reinsurance investment transactions. He has advised clients on a wide range of transactions including catastrophe bonds, special purpose insurers, sidecars, life insurance securitisations, and other fully collateralised structures. Brad is also a member of Appleby's global Technology & Innovation team, providing comprehensive advice in connection with all aspects of initial coin offerings and the carrying on of digital asset business.
Caljonah is an Associate in the Private Client & Trusts department in Bermuda. Caljonah's key areas of practice and in-depth experience include advising on all areas of non-contentious trust matters ranging from advising individuals, corporate trustees and private trust companies on their core duties and responsibilities as trustees, in addition to the drafting, review and restructuring of trust structures (including purpose trusts and unit trusts). She also advises on all non-contentious estate matters, including making applications for probate and reseal applications to the Supreme Court of Bermuda, and the drafting and review of estate planning documents such as trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney and health care directives for local and international clients.
