October 31, 2019 (London) – International law firm Proskauer represented DNA Payments on its acquisition of payment solutions provider CR7 Services Ltd. The transaction marks DNA Payments' first acquisition as it looks to expand.

Established in 2014, the CR7 Services group is a UK-based provider of payments solutions, with its offerings including both a proprietary processing platform and retail payment software solutions.

The acquisition will enable DNA Payments to bring its operating experience in the payments sector to help CR7 Services Group move into the next stage of its growth journey.

"We're delighted to have worked with DNA Payments on their first acquisition and look forward to working with the team on the next stages of DNA Payments' ambitious expansion plans," said Proskauer lead partner Andrew Wingfield.

DNA Payments founder and CEO, Arif Babayev, commented "We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Proskauer M&A team; they had an in-depth knowledge of our business and the payments space, and provided valuable support and advice throughout the negotiations. We very much look forward to working with Proskauer in the future."

The Proskauer team comprised partner Andrew Wingfield with associates Jacqueline Ball, Harriet West and Jack Morant.

This is the latest in a series of FinTech transactions in the payments space for the Proskauer team.
