Simone Dupré recently joined the Lafayette, Louisiana office as a partner. Her practice focuses primarily on trucking and other commercial auto cases. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University Law Center where she was a member of Law Review and Moot Court Board. She is a member of the firm's Transportation and General Liability Practices.

The lion's share of Simone's practice over the past 16 years has been dedicated to the defense of commercial trucking companies. She has served on the first response transportation investigation teams at previous firms and is well-versed in the discovery process surrounding eighteen-wheeler crashes. She has handled cases involving multiple trucks and cars, fatalities, and traumatic injuries.

Simone offers her clients a range of services that includes safety manual reviews and advice on cargo and other property damage claims. She has jury trial experience in both state and federal courts. In addition to the defense of trucking companies, Simone is also experienced in defending businesses on a variety of claims, including those involving allegedly defective equipment and faulty performance of services as well as premises liability.

Simone is a lifelong resident of the Acadiana region of South Louisiana, where she is an active member of her church as well as local and state bar associations. In her leisure time, Simone most enjoys hiking and backpacking, particularly when she is accompanied by her faithful canine, Izzy. When time permits, Simone also enjoys travelling to new and interesting places in in the United States and Europe.
