Orange County Partners Laura Lopez and James Werner will speak on the anatomy of a personal injury case at an upcoming Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Education Committee in-person seminar on July 7 at 5:00 p.m. PT.
In this informative 60-minute session, titled "Anatomy of a PI Case," Ms. Lopez and Mr. Werner will be joined by James G. Perry (Atticus Injury Law) to provide a comprehensive overview of handling a personal injury case from inception through trial. Attendees will gain practical guidance on litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation from both plaintiff and defense perspectives. CLE credits are available.
Ms. Lopez focuses primarily on defending insurers and their insureds in all areas of litigation including homeowners association (HOA) disputes, premises liability claims, habitability disputes, and defamation claims. She also handles the defense of a broad array of personal injury matters. Ms. Lopez has extensive courtroom experience, both through her motion practice and at trial. She has handled bench and jury trials – including as second chair.
Mr. Werner focuses his practice on products liability and general liability matters.
