Young Moore is pleased to welcome Brooke Hanshumaker as the latest participant in the firm’s 2026 Summer Law Clerk Program. The program provides law students with meaningful exposure to the practice of law through hands-on legal work, professional development opportunities, and interaction with attorneys across the firm.
Brooke is a rising third-year law student at the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she is a member of the Transactional and Corporate Law Association and participates in the Federalist Society Mentorship Program. Since beginning law school, she has gained practical experience in both transactional and litigation matters through clerkships with a Raleigh-area company and a Charlotte law firm.
Brooke earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and Professional Sales and a minor in Leadership Studies, from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She competed as a full-scholarship student-athlete on the volleyball team at both institutions.
The firm is pleased to welcome Brooke to Young Moore and looks forward to the contributions she will make during the summer while gaining practical experience in a variety of legal disciplines.
