Our second boardroom lunch in this series will be held on Thursday 20 June 2019 in our Sydney office to discuss our insights from the 2019 Global Privacy Summit that was held in Washington DC in early May and attended by over 4,300 Privacy professionals.

In particular we will review the infographic "personal data and the organisation: stewardship and strategy" prepared by the Future of Privacy Forum and the way this might be used within organisations to broaden the privacy debate and obtain C suite buy in.

We will also review insights from the session "future proofing privacy programs in an evolving regulatory landscape" which was presented by McKinsey and one of the takeaways will be learning from that case study.

The insights of European lawyers and technologists on privacy audits by regulators and contractual counterparties as part of supply chain management will be shared.

The final insight will be considering the convergence of privacy with consumer law and insights from the interview with the chairman of the Federal Trade Commission in his use of enforcement powers to in privacy breaches.
