Leading international patent and trade mark firm, Haseltine Lake, and boutique IP law firm, Kempner & Partners, announce that with effect from 1st May 2019 they have joined forces to create a new IP powerhouse, and a new choice for clients. The combined firm, Haseltine Lake Kempner, will provide a full suite of IP services advising across the entire IPR Lifespan" and in all technical and scientific disciplines. Haseltine Lake Kempner comprises nearly 200 people in 7 locations, with offices in London, Munich, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow, The Netherlands and Guangzhou (China), providing IP services across the globe.
The merger follows a period of over two years where the two firms have been operating in a close alliance and have seen clients benefit from the combined offering. It has also allowed the firms to get to know each other and to really understand their respective businesses, cultures, common approach and vision for the future of IP services.
The merger presents considerable benefits for the clients of Haseltine Lake Kempner, including new and deeper capability and resources, that will differentiate it from many of its competitors.
