We are pleased to announce that Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade has joined ǼLEX as International Counsel. He joins the firm after more than 30 years of working in the legal profession and financial services sector. Previously, Dr. Akin-Olugbade was General Counsel of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), and was a pioneer member of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the Africa Finance Corporation.
Dr. Akin-Olugbade is a leading international finance expert who combines the highest academic qualifications and professional distinction with excellent legal skills and corporate governance expertise. Additionally, he has been on the Boards of multinational corporations. He is an accomplished multilingual and multi-skilled leader who is passionate about the socio-economic development of Africa. He is an alumnus of pre-eminent law schools and of several Executive Management programmes, including the Wharton CEO Academy, IMD Executive Management Programme and HEC (Montreal) Management Development Program (MDP).
