The 22nd European Intellectual Property Forum (the event), which is organised by Union des Fabricants (Unifab), is convened in Paris from 9th to 10th of March, 2017. The event themes "The growth needs Intellectual Property", featuring three half-day-long sessions of "Intellectual Property, An International Policy Issue?", "Online Counterfeiting: Assessments, Consequences & Solutions" and "Boarding for a World Tour of Efficient Actions".
Distinguished speakers include Christian Peugeot, President of UNIFAB & French Committee of Automobile Manufacturers (CCFA), Antonio Campinos, EUIPO Executive Director, Ros Lynch, Copyright & Enforcement Director, United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office, as well as Benoît Battistelli, President, European Patent Office.
The event attracts hundreds of attendees from governmental agencies, multinational corporations, law firms and various organisations. Mr. Jean-Baptiste Mozziconacci, ex- Director for Strategy and International Relations at INPI and French lawyer Ms. Xiao Lin FU-BOURGNE attend the event in the of-counsel capacity of WHD - PEKSUNG IP Group.
Created in 1872, Unifab is now an association of defense and promotion of intellectual property rights, including 200 companies stemming from all the business sectors. It is a unique observatory of the protection of intellectual property rights, a source of information and a discussion forum.
