Carpmaels & Ransford is pleased to announce the appointment of Fergus Tyrrell as Counsel, effective from 1st October 2026.
Fergus is a member of the Life Sciences Pharma group and focuses on small molecule therapeutics and related technologies. His work includes the prosecution of patent applications and oppositions before the European Patent Office, international patent prosecution, due diligence projects and advice on pan-European supplementary protection certificate filing and prosecution strategies.

Fergus joined Carpmaels & Ransford in 2014. He qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2016 and as a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2018.
