Nashville, Tenn. (September 22, 2026) – Bass, Berry & Sims continues to expand its litigation and investigations capabilities to meet growing client needs in the areas of antitrust enforcement, complex healthcare disputes, government enforcement, and regulatory compliance matters. New team members include Jeff H. Gibson, Denise Keliuotis, Mary Elizabeth Clemons, Brooke Meadowcroft, and Quint Doan.

These additions to the firm’s roster of award-winning attorneys are part of an ongoing period of client-focused strategic growth at Bass, Berry & Sims, which has added 68 lateral attorneys, including 19 members and counsel, since January 2025.

Jeff H. Gibson – Litigation, Government Investigations, & Dispute Resolution

Jeff H. Gibson joins Bass, Berry & Sims as a member in Nashville. He returns to Bass, Berry & Sims after serving as general counsel for a large, private equity-backed childcare company. Gibson represents companies, directors, and executives in investigations and litigation involving business disputes, False Claims Act liability, regulatory compliance, white-collar criminal conduct, and other high-stakes issues. In addition, Gibson is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator.

Gibson earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law (2007) and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Furman University (2002).

Denise Keliuotis – Litigation, Government Investigations, & Dispute Resolution

Denise Keliuotis joins as a senior litigation attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes, healthcare investigations, insurance coverage, and professional liability. Keliuotis has significant experience as appellate counsel.

In addition to her litigation practice, Keliuotis is a certified mediator through the Northwestern University Mediation Skills Training Program. She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (2000) and her B.A. from Loyola University Chicago (1990). Keliuotis was a journalist in Chicago and Los Angeles before becoming a lawyer.

Mary Elizabeth Clemons – Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Mary Elizabeth Clemons joins as an associate in Nashville. She represents clients in a wide range of business and commercial disputes.

Before joining the firm, Clemons practiced at Stites & Harbison, PLLC in Nashville. Prior to private practice, she managed more than 40 appeals as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. During law school, Clemons gained additional litigation experience through internships and externships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. Clemons earned a law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law (2022) and an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi (2019).

Quint C. Doan – Environmental

Quint C. Doan joins the Nashville office as an associate. He advises clients operating at the intersection of environmental regulation, alternative energy and renewable energy development, and highly regulated industries. Drawing on a dual background in law and environmental science, Doan helps companies evaluate risk, structure transactions, and navigate evolving regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Doan was an associate at Stinson LLP in Dallas and served as a law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington State Attorney General: Department of Ecology. Doan earned his law degree from Yale Law School (2022), a Master of Environmental Science from the Yale School of the Environment (2022), and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona (2017).

Brooke Meadowcroft – Antitrust & Competition

Brooke Meadowcroft joins the Washington, D.C. office as an associate. She focuses her practice on antitrust and competition matters, representing clients in government investigations, litigation, and regulatory reviews. She assists companies in navigating complex competition issues and supports matters across a range of industries, with a concentration on healthcare.

Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Meadowcroft was a litigation associate at Dechert LLP in Washington, D.C., where her work focused on antitrust and competition issues. She earned a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law (2024) and an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland (2021).
