Strasburger & Price LLP, a premier Texas law firm with more than 75 years of history, has relocated its Dallas offices to floors 60, 61 and 62 in the Bank of America Plaza, and will have its formal address at Suite 6000, 901 Main Street, Dallas 75202. The firm moved 67 attorneys along with 73 staff and management employees from floors 43 through 46 earlier in November.
Strasburger's new space is significantly different from its former offices. At 65,000 square feet, the modern offices display many changes from the old guard design hierarchy. The big law library is gone – since most content is available digitally – and the reduced area set aside for filing reflects efficiencies in digital document management. The firm also condensed the space by moving its IT systems offsite to a co-location facility for security and redundancy.
"Strasburger wanted to move toward a sleeker, more modern and space-efficient office layout, and designed a space to reflect a more youthful and advanced approach to practicing law," said Bob Franke, partner-in-charge of Strasburger's Dallas office. "We thought a more collaborative and progressive atmosphere would resonate well with our clients and among ourselves. Strasburger wanted to provide employees with contemporary updates and a better workplace, and use the redesigned space as a recruiting tool for continued success."
Gerdes, Henrichson & Associates was the architect involved with the space, which includes lots of glass and abundant natural lighting. The space is designed with single-sized attorney offices and an open floor plan for support departments. Other unique features include a window-facing lounge for attorneys and employees, creating a more dynamic restaurant feel.
Strasburger partners had a vision for creating their offices with generational demographics in mind, while implementing a more effective and updated space. With this new lease, Strasburger will continue its legacy as one of Texas's most-admired law practices.
Bank of America Plaza is a 72-story, late-modernist skyscraper located in the Main Street District of downtown Dallas. It is the tallest skyscraper in the city, the third tallest in Texas and the 28th tallest in the U.S.
