Carol Glendenning, a partner in the Dallas office of Strasburger & Price LLP, has received the 2016 Anti-Defamation League Larry Schoenbrun Jurisprudence Award. The prestigious award is presented annually to a member of the legal community for outstanding leadership, exemplary contributions to the community, and a commitment to longstanding pursuit of justice and fair treatment for all. Carol received the recognition at a luncheon on November 28. To celebrate her award and support the ADL's worthwhile goals, Strasburger donated $10,000 to the ADL to help sponsor the event.

Carol is a corporate attorney who finds satisfaction from assisting clients in achieving their goals. She formerly served her colleagues as a member of Strasburger's Policy Committee, which she chaired for  eight years. Deeply touched by this recognition, Carol explains that for her, the greatest privilege is to be of service to others and pursue her commitment to a life-long appreciation for dedication to family and the community.

As a current director of the United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas, the Dallas Friday Group and the Turtle Creek Association, and as a past director of the St. Paul Medical Foundation, the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas (now WiNGS), the Dallas Opera, the Dallas Regional Chamber, and Chiapas International, Carol has had the opportunity to improve the welfare of women and children, encourage the artistic and emotional empowerment of opera, promote economic development, fund medical needs, and support the full range of social services made possible through the United Way.
