Kennedys has advised Minority Broker Partnerships (MBP) on its minority share investment in London-based broker Eggar Forrester Insurance.

Eggar Forrester is an established independent insurance broker, with a strong track record of providing specialist insurance solutions to its clients. The investment will support Eggar Forrester's next phase of growth while enabling the business to benefit from MBP's investment, expertise and wider network across the insurance broking sector. The existing management team will continue to lead Eggar Forrester.

MBP is a UK-based specialist investment firm backed by insurance entrepreneur Peter Cullum and led by CEO James McCaffrey. MBP acquire minority stakes in independent retail insurance brokers and managing general agents (MGAs), allowing owners to release equity while retaining business control.

The Kennedys team was led by corporate partnerĀ Lowri Jones, with support from corporate associate Harpinder Nahl.
