The U.S. Department of Justice has dropped its appeal of a federal court ruling that blocked a subpoena seeking medical records of young people receiving gender-affirming care at UPMC.

Hockeimer, Jr., spoke with Pennsylvania Capital Star about the U.S. Department of Justice dropping its appeal of a federal court ruling that quashed its subpoena issued to UPMC just over a year ago, seeking to access medical records of young people seeking gender-affirming care.
