A litigator, Tristan practises civil and commercial litigation, with a primary focus on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He represents financial institutions, trustees and entrepreneurs in complex disputes, advising them at every stage, from assessing their options and developing a strategy aligned with their objectives to appearing before the courts. His practice also extends to disputes involving technology, intellectual property and trademarks.
Before joining Langlois, Tristan worked in the legal department of a major international insurance company, where he managed a high volume of litigation files. This experience gave him a practical understanding of the operational and decision-making realities organizations face. It continues to shape his pragmatic and structured approach, which focuses on identifying key issues early, managing risk effectively and developing solutions tailored to his clients’ business realities.
