Within the framework of the "5th International Pharmaceutical Forum of Uzbekistan," Legalmax convened an expert session on:
"Brand Protection and Anti-Counterfeiting: Trademarks, Parallel Imports, and Non-Certified Products."
Legalmax consistently advances its expert agenda in the field of intellectual property, brand protection, and the prevention of illicit trade. The organization of such session's forms part of our structured efforts to bring together business stakeholders, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and the professional community around issues of tangible practical relevance to the market.
The session addressed key and emerging challenges within the pharmaceutical market, including the unauthorized use of trademarks, parallel importation, look-alike products, counterfeit and non-certified goods, as well as practical instruments for the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Particular emphasis was placed on inter-agency and cross-sectoral cooperation. Effective counteraction to counterfeit trade requires not only robust legal frameworks, but also sustained and structured dialogue between businesses, customs authorities, regulators, and the expert community.
For Legalmax, it is essential not only to provide legal support in matters of intellectual property protection, but also to contribute to the development of a professional environment in which complex market challenges are addressed at a high expert level and translated into practice-oriented solutions.
