We are pleased to announce that our Partner – Head of Corporate and Private Client, Stella Strati, will be speaking at the upcoming webinar "Walking the Line: Surviving Sanctions Without Crossing It", organised by the Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CYFA).

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, from 09:00 to 12:30 (Cyprus time) and will be delivered online via Zoom. Stella will be joined by Nicky Xenofontos in what promises to be a highly practical and insightful session addressing one of the most significant compliance challenges facing professionals today.

Designed for fiduciaries, corporate service providers, legal advisors, compliance professionals and private client practitioners, the webinar aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving sanctions landscape and its impact on corporate, fiduciary and private client structures.

The session will examine key developments in sanctions regulation and enforcement, including recent legislative changes, beneficial ownership and control considerations, anti-circumvention principles, indirect exposure risks, and the practical implications of sanctions on trusts, foundations and cross-border transactions.

Participants will also gain valuable insights into the duties and responsibilities of trustees, directors and professional advisors, as well as the challenges faced in banking relationships, asset management and sanctions-related risk assessment. Through practical case studies and real-life scenarios, the webinar will focus on helping professionals identify, manage and mitigate sanctions risks while navigating increasingly complex regulatory requirements.

The programme will be delivered through an interactive format combining presentations, practical examples, case studies and discussion, followed by a dedicated Q&A session. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for up to three CPD unit hours.

We congratulate Stella on her participation in this important webinar and look forward to her contribution to what promises to be an engaging and informative discussion on sanctions compliance and risk management.

Those attending the webinar are encouraged to connect with Stella. She looks forward to exchanging views with fellow professionals and discussing the practical challenges arising in today's rapidly evolving sanctions environment.
