Aaron Lang, a partner in Foley Hoag's Energy and Climate Practice, has been named a member of the Steering Committee for the Climate Adaptation Forum, a quarterly series co-hosted by the Environmental Business Council of New England and the Sustainable Solutions Lab at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
Since 2017, the Climate Adaptation Forum has served as a regular gathering where adaptation professionals from various fields meet to share solutions and exchange ideas across disciplines. Topics span the broad landscape of climate resilience, including its intersection with race and equity.
As a Steering Committee member, Aaron will help organize the quarterly Forum meetings, which bring together professionals from fields including engineering, insurance, planning, public health, law, and environmental regulation to address climate adaptation and resilience.
At Foley Hoag, Aaron helps developers secure permits and approvals for utility-scale offshore wind, battery storage, and other large-scale renewable energy projects. He advises on clean energy financing matters and incentives under federal and state law, including regulatory matters associated with federal energy tax credits. His practice also includes representing clients in regulatory proceedings, environmental compliance, and litigation.
