This year’s Data Protection Congress focused on the
challenges posed by data protection law ten years after the GDPR
came into force. Philip Radlanski, Local Partner in the IP &
Technology practice group, delivered a presentation at the congress
in which he used concrete examples to highlight three widespread
misconceptions regarding GDPR governance within international
corporate structures. He presented a concise model for robust role
clarification, contractual architecture and crisis management.
