McDermott Will & Schulte advised Pet Being in the acquisition of a majority stake equal to 66% of the share capital of General & Pharma S.r.l., a company active in the development and production of nutritional supplements for companion animals.
The transaction is part of Pet Being's consolidation and growth strategy in the pet care and pet health sector, with the aim of further strengthening its market presence through the integration of complementary industrial and commercial expertise.
The McDermott team advising Pet Being was composed of Vincenzo Giannantonio and Vera Greco, who handled all corporate and M&A aspects of the transaction.
The sellers were advised by Giovannelli e Associati with a team composed of Alessandro Giovannelli, Pasquale Marini, Serena Germani, and Filippo Noci.
The notarial aspects of the transaction were handled by notary Ciro De Vivo.
