JSA advised Advent International in its acquisition of a significant minority stake in Iscon Balaji Foods Private Limited, through a combination of primary infusion and secondary purchase of shares. Advent International, L.P. will invest in the business through Paldone Limited, the firm's Cyprus based private equity platform.
Iscon Balaji Foods Private Limited is amongst the leading manufacturer and exporter of frozen food products, and supplies products to leading QSR and foodservice customers across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Far East.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
