Finance Corporation on its provision of a US$45 million financing
package to IPT PowerTech, a leading telecom energy services company
operating across Africa, including Nigeria, and the Middle
East.
The financing will support the expansion of IPT Powertech's
telecom energy services activities in Ethiopia, Liberia and Sierra
Leone, enhancing access to reliable and cleaner power solutions for
telecom networks.
This investment represents IFC's first direct infrastructure
engagement in Liberia in a decade and in Sierra Leone in six
years.
