Crain's New York Business recognized Jenner & Block Partners Anne Cortina Perry, Katya Jestin, and Joanna Wright among its 2026 Notable Women in Law. The list recognizes trailblazing female lawyers who redefine success in the legal profession by setting precedent in landmark cases, guiding billion-dollar transactions, and shaping policy while mentoring the next generation of attorneys.
Recognized for her work investigating highly sensitive culture, compliance, and legal risks for companies, universities, and nonprofit institutions, Anne guides clients through governmental or regulatory investigations, conducts internal investigations with and without parallel governmental investigations, and advises her clients on developing and improving effective, risk-based compliance programs. Beyond client work, she also co-chairs the firm's Culture Risk and Sensitive Investigations Practice, ESG Practice, women's forum, and post - Dobbs task force, and serves as a member of the firm's Management Committee.
As Co-Chair of Jenner's Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice, Katya oversees more than 70 lawyers guiding global corporations through complex internal investigations, cross-border regulatory challenges, and high-stakes government inquiries. In 2025, her strategic efforts secured a declination for a Fortune 100 corporate client in a wide-ranging corruption matter.
A seasoned trial lawyer, Joanna co-chairs the firm's Business Litigation and Mass Torts and Product Liability Practices, and serves as a member of the Management Committee. She has first-chaired trials in federal and state courts and arbitrations across more than 15 trial teams throughout her career. Joanna's work took on national significance following Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, when she won the first ruling nationwide to block implementation of a state's unconstitutionally vague "trigger bans."
