Langlois's real estate law team is proud to have acted as legal counsel to Québec-based companies Remcorp and SINA in connection with EDEN, a large-scale real estate project in Kanata, a suburb of Ottawa.

Developed through a strategic partnership between SINA and Remcorp, EDEN is a major multi-residential project comprising two six-storey buildings with a total of 196 units, representing an overall investment of C$100 million and marking SINA's first expansion into the Ontario market. Kanata was an obvious strategic choice for our clients, given its very low multi-residential vacancy rate and sustained demand for rental housing. Excavation work began in October 2025, with occupancy expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Under the leadership of partner Vincent Tremblay, our colleagues Yixiao Zheng and Jérémie Martin, with the support of paralegal Nancy Lapierre, structured the partnership and coordinated the bank financing required to launch the project.

Langlois is proud to have contributed to this real estate development project, which will create new housing opportunities for young professionals.
