About the event

Whether regulated or not, your business can be subject to dawn raids and inspections by multiple authorities.

Join us for an insightful session exploring why dawn raids and regulatory inspections are becoming more frequent, what this means for businesses across sectors, and how to prepare and respond effectively.

We are pleased to invite you to our seminar, which will take place in the auditorium of Arendt House on Wednesday 14 January 2025 at 12 pm on the theme: Dawn raids and inspections by non-regulatory public authorities – Tax, competition, labour, data and criminal.

The seminar will feature a panel discussion with practical cases covering experiences with the main Luxembourg authorities.

Key focus areas:

  • Different authorities, different approaches? How do inspections vary by authority, and how should you deal with this variety and complexity?
  • Parallel inspections: multiple interventions, including criminal investigations, can overlap. How do you prevent the spark from turning into a wildfire?
  • Preparing and reacting effectively: immediate steps during an inspection and essential internal policies and training.
  • Lessons learned & looking ahead: common mistakes and best practices for safeguarding rights during inspections, plus key trends to watch.

This one-hour presentation will conclude with key points and practical advice to remember, followed by a Q&A session.

For any questions, please contact our Events team at events@arendt.com.
