Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is delighted to announce its partnership with the global Investec Early-Stage Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
Known globally as 'The Easies', the awards are run by OPUS, a community of founders and entrepreneurs, to spotlight those who are less than four years into the business they are building, emphasising potential and ambition before success has been achieved. They range across sectors including climate, culture, fintech, healthtech as well as professional services, and aim to elevate business founders by offering recognition, networking and growth opportunities.
By partnering with OPUS to support the Easie's Professional Services award, HSF Kramer underlines its commitment to foster talent and drive innovation across law and professional services, support emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to create lasting value, and, in the words of the awards, 'celebrate the bold'.
Justin D'Agostino, CEO of HSF Kramer, says: "We have been impressed with the landscape of Legal AI startups and are eager to support their continued growth. Partnering with OPUS is an opportunity for our firm to collaborate with founders at the cutting-edge of AI innovation around the world."
Ilona Logvinova, Chief AI Officer at HSF Kramer, adds: "OPUS is an organisation committed to empowering founders and acts as both a connectivity platform and a growth engine for their success. We're excited by this opportunity to engage directly with market-leading talent to set up for achieving the greatest impact for our clients."
Details about shortlisted candidates are accessible here. Voting is live until midnight on 24 November 2025, with winners announced on 9 December 2025. Each winner will receive a cash prize, a trip to The World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos with the OPUS delegation and visibility amongst the venture capital community.
Sam Tidswell-Norrish, founder & chair of OPUS, adds: "The Easies were created to spotlight founders who are shaping the future. With HSF Kramer joining as a partner, we're able to offer even greater resources and connections to help these entrepreneurs accelerate their journey. With the support of giants like HSF Kramer, we believe The Easies can become the globally recognised awards for early-stage entrepreneurs, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that the new era of game-changing founders get the recognition they deserve."
