Her arrival marks the launch of our Banking & Finance practice in Austria, a significant step in expanding our capabilities in this core area. With her outstanding track record and expertise, Miriam will play a key role in building and leading our finance offering in Vienna, ensuring we provide clients with seamless support on complex local and cross-border matters.
Miriamis a recognised expert in financial markets law with many years of experience advising Austrian and international financial institutions on a broad range of regulatory matters, including banking supervisory law, payment services, securities law, and anti-money laundering compliance. She also has extensive experience in structuring digital business models and advising fintech companies on crypto-asset services and compliance with the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR).
Miriam began her career at the Austrian Financial Market
Authority (FMA) and went on to work at several renowned
international law firms in Vienna as well as at Goldman Sachs in
Frankfurt. Miriam frequently publishes on legal issues and
contributes to the debate on current regulatory developments.
