AGM Managing Partner Michael Binetti appeared on CTV's Your Morning on Thursday, October 23, 2025 to discuss World Series ticket resale practices. He analyzed the legal and policy implications of ticket resale pricing in the wake of Ontario Premier Doug Ford's recent criticism of ticket "gouging."

In the segment, entitled "Doug Ford Criticizes World Series Ticket 'Gouging," Michael addresses the controversy surrounding Toronto Blue Jays World Series tickets, which sold out within minutes and immediately reappeared on resale sites at prices reaching thousands of dollars above face value.

Michael provided analysis on the potential revival of legislation to cap resale markups—a measure that Ford's government previously scrapped in 2019. The former Liberal government's law would have capped ticket resale prices at 50 per cent above the original face value.

The discussion comes as Premier Ford suggested his government is considering new legislation to address what he called market control by a single player, following widespread complaints from Blue Jays fans who were priced out of World Series games.
