Cahill partner Joel Kurtzberg has been named an Innovative Practitioner finalist as part of The Financial Times Innovative Lawyers North America 2025 Awards.

The Innovative Lawyers awards recognize legal industry leaders who find innovative ways to deliver value to their clients and drive positive change in the profession. Joel's nomination focused on his exceptional work crafting novel arguments protecting clients' First Amendment rights in ways that expand the scope of constitutional protections for modern businesses.

This is the second consecutive year a Cahill partner has been named a finalist for this award, after Brian Markley was named a finalist in 2024.

The 2025 winners will be announced at a live ceremony on December 8 at Gotham Hall in New York City.
