LOS ANGELES, October 1, 2025 – Proskauer is proud to announce that partner Bart Williams has been appointed by Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. to a three-year term on the Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure. The appointment is effective October 1, 2025.
The committee, commonly known as the Standing Committee, carries on a continuous study of the rules and recommend changes to the Judicial Conference through Advisory Committees on the Rules of Appellate, Bankruptcy, Civil, Criminal Procedure, and the Rules of Evidence.
