NEW YORK, October 22, 2025 – Proskauer is pleased to share that it has been named "Law Firm of the Year: Alternative Credit" at the 2025 Hedgeweek US Awards, which recognize excellence in alternative fund management and service provision. Winners are determined based on an allocator board, peer surveys, editorial expertise and data analysis.
Part of the Firm's Private Funds Group, Proskauer's hedge fund and credit fund formation practices operate as an integrated platform, advising investment managers in bespoke investment funds across credit strategies including direct lending, asset-backed lending, opportunistic credit, event-driven/special situations, structured finance and broadly syndicated loans/bond market. Among other products, the group works extensively with managers creating open-end ("evergreen") funds, hybrid funds and close-end funds, including implementing conversion options on close-end structures.

This marks the third recognition in the past month for the Private Funds Group, which was also awarded "Best Law Firm: Private Markets" at the 2025 HFM US Services Awards and named "Legal Advisor of the Year (Funds)" at this year's Mergermarket British Private Equity Awards.
