On the afternoon of Wednesday, 17 September 2025, our Corporate & Commercial team once again had the pleasure of supporting the King's Start-up Accelerator, following our successful involvement earlier this year.
Partners Rory Wilson, Piers Larbey, and Nicholas Alun-Jones, together with Associate Giorgio Pizzetti and Trainee Solicitor Sam Young, hosted an 'office hours' clinic where founders could ask questions in a private and confidential setting.
As before, the conversations spanned a wide range of topics, from equity allocations and vesting to navigating international sales and customer agreements. However, what really stood out this time was the surge in AI-driven start-ups, underlining how artificial intelligence is reshaping the business landscape and creating new legal challenges and opportunities for founders.
Engaging with ambitious entrepreneurs is always inspiring, and it reinforces the importance of having the right legal support from the outset. That's why we created our Legal Incubator, to help start-ups accelerate their growth while avoiding common legal pitfalls.
