London (UK)—Chris Williamson joins Fasken as Counsel in the Global Mining Group in the London office.
Chris brings over 20 years of experience in the Commodities sector, having worked as both a lawyer and front office structurer at top-tier international banks and commodities firms.
His expertise spans Base Metals, Precious Metals, Bulks, Concentrates, and Carbon, and he has advised on, structured, and executed a wide range of physical and financial commodities transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Throughout his career, Chris has worked extensively on secured lending, prepayment and pre-export finance transactions, sale and purchase agreements, inventory and working capital finance (warehouse and voyage), offtake transactions, royalties, streams, risk participations (funded and unfunded), non-payment and physical loss insurance policies, derivatives, and investor products.
