Healthcare Partner and Corporate Practice Group Co-Leader Jeralin Cardoso was recognized among the San Diego Business Journal's 2025 "Women of Influence in Healthcare" list, which highlights prominent female professionals in San Diego's healthcare industry who are working to improve access to and quality of healthcare services for patients. This marks Cardoso's second recognition by the publication this year, as she was also named to its "Leaders of Influence in Healthcare" list in May.
Cardoso works with a broad range of healthcare clients in California and throughout the country, including physician groups, hospitals, ancillary service providers and private equity and strategic investors. In what will be one of 2025's most significant healthcare transactions, Cardoso is representing Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic non-profit health system, in its acquisition of AMSURG, the second-largest ambulatory surgery center operator in the U.S.
