Your Legal Partners advised Eurobank as lender to the winning consortium comprising METLEN S.A. .A. and MESOGEIOS S.A. in the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the irrigation network of the Local Organization of Land Reclamation of Ypereia and Orfana.
This major €77 million infrastructure project aims to deliver a modern and sustainable irrigation network across the regions of Larissa and Karditsa, enhancing the efficiency of local agricultural irrigation while significantly reducing both water loss and energy consumption. A portion of the construction cost is financed by the Greek Government through the European Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), highlighting the project's strategic importance and public interest.
Your Legal Partners acted as the Greek law legal advisor (LLA) to the lender and is responsible for conducting full legal due diligence on the project, drafting and negotiating the Greek law finance documentation, and coordinating with the English law LLA on hedging documentation. Our scope also included reviewing and negotiating the key project documents, monitoring the fulfilment of conditions precedent to drawdowns, and issuing the legal opinions required to support financial close.
