The law firm TGS Baltic is now TEGOS — a name that marks the next phase in its evolution: deeper regional collaboration, continued expansion, and a stronger international presence.
Over the past three decades, the firm has grown from national roots into a single, integrated legal team, operating across the Baltics and increasingly beyond. Its structure, mindset, and ambition have matured, and the new identity brings that transformation into focus.
"This is not just a name change — it reflects who we have become and how our clients experience us today," says Vilius Bernatonis, Managing Partner of TEGOS Lithuania and Chairman of the Baltic Board. "TEGOS captures both what we have built and where we are going next."
This step signals the firm's expansion on all fronts: deeper cross-border collaboration, broader services, growing international work, and more complex client needs. TEGOS is built to keep pace with its clients and support their growth through practical, forward-looking advice.
"The market has shifted — it is more global, connected, and demanding," says Ivars Grunte, Managing Partner of the Latvian office. "We have evolved with it. Our new identity simply makes that visible."
The name TEGOS, from the Greek tégos ("protection"), reflects the firm's focus: providing structure, clarity, and assurance for bold decisions.
"What defines us has not changed — clarity, consistency, long-term relationships, and a focus on practical solutions that drive results," adds Sander Kärson, Managing Partner of TEGOS Estonia. "The name is new. The principles remain."
This change aligns the firm's identity with how it already operates and positions it for the next stage of regional and international growth.
