Kaufman Rossin, the largest independent CPA and advisory firm in Florida and one of the top 50 firms in the U.S., announced its recognition by the South Florida Business Journal (SFBJ) as one of South Florida's largest private companies. The firm ranked No. 48 on the prestigious list, which highlights the region's top privately held businesses based on 2024 revenue.
The annual list honors 100 companies based in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties that together generated more than $87.23 billion in combined revenue in 2024 and employ more than 33,550 people locally, according to the SFBJ. Kaufman Rossin earned its place on the list with 2024 revenue of $151 million and 563 South Florida employees. For the fiscal year ended May 31, 2025, the firm had revenue of $164 million and 595 South Florida employees.
This year's rankings represent a broader effort by the publication to uncover and spotlight more businesses across the region. An additional 89 companies were included in the publication's expanded online edition as part of an enhanced research methodology designed to provide more data and insight to readers across American City Business Journals' 46 markets. The SFBJ gathered its data through questionnaires verified by company CFOs or accountants.
"Our ranking among South Florida's largest private companies reflects the incredible commitment of our people and the trust our clients place in us every day," said Blain Heckaman, CEO of Kaufman Rossin. "As we continue to grow, we remain focused on helping businesses and individuals thrive through forward-thinking solutions and deep industry expertise."
