William Fry, working with Niederer Kraft Frey has advised Ardian, the leading European-headquartered private equity firm with over US$180 billion of assets under management and advisory, on the Irish legal aspects of its majority-stake acquisition in the Horizon Home Care group, the Swiss-headquartered provider of non-medical home care services under the name Dovida (formerly Home Instead).

Employing over 12,000 people worldwide, Dovida has operations across Europe and Australia and is Ireland's largest provider of home care services with offices in 25 locations. The transaction is expected to complete later this year.
