Taft attorneys John R. Hammond, III, Bob Hicks, Kyle Hupfer, Lacy Johnson, and Marci Reddick have been named to IBJ Media’s Indiana 250 list of honorees for 2025. The list recognizes influential and impactful leaders in Indiana.
Hammond III is a partner in Taft’s Public Affairs Strategies Group and provides public affairs services for clients on a local, state, and federal level. As a veteran of Indiana state government, he has helped shape a wide variety of public policies from state and local tax policy and environmental regulatory affairs to K-12 and higher education policy, tort reform, transportation, insurance, and economic development issues.
Hicks serves as Firmwide Chairman and Managing Partner of Taft. He focuses his practice on complex business and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured financings, business advisory services, and structural tax matters.
Hupfer is co-chair of Taft’s Public Affairs Strategies Group. He focuses his practice on business law and provides counsel on various business and other legal issues, public policy matters, municipal finance, P3 projects, and strategic development.
Johnson has more than 40 years of experience focusing on public affairs and government. He serves and has served on numerous professional and civic boards. Johnson is partner-in-charge of Taft’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Reddick is former partner and is now of counsel in Taft’s Real Estate Group. She serves as president of the Capital Improvement Board of Marion County and as a member of the Indy Arts Council Board of Directors, the IU McKinney School of Law Board of Visitors, the Visit Indy Board of Directors, and the WNBA 2025 All-Star Board of Directors. She has represented clients in all phases of real estate acquisition, sales, finance, leasing, public/private partnerships, land use matters, and development. Throughout her 40 year legal career Reddick has served on numerous civic, nonprofit, and professional boards.
